Yesterday was the big opening. I didn't feel it at all, probably because that morning I woke up with fever. The whole production period was not as tiring as more demanding. We had a lot of rehearsals with "the tape" and the real thing started as the band joined. Top class musicians. Nothing to add. All people working in this production are amazing. Seriously, it's a pleasure to work with Grease The Arena Show crew, cast, creative team.. ehh. After the opening I can put in some photos of the whole set.

Technically we got few toys, like that nice car.

Few toys were flying, besides the trussing - mirror balls, shakes, bed.. people. That's the hoist-city.

And my personal best - shows that a sound designer, can design almost everything - a pro-flight case-stair case.

We didn't have many 'late nights' but when everybody else left the building the video and lights team took over the stage almost every time.

If I got a moment I tried to take photos, but being stuck between 2 computers, script and mixing desk didn't make it easier. Snaphot one.

Snapshot two - and how did You spent your Christmas Eve??

Snapshot three - how Heavy spent his Christmas ;p

That is all I have from past two weeks. I can't believe that's almost over. Tomorrow is the longest day, 2 show, and a camera run in between for a promo dvd.
From day to day we improve something. Still problem solving and troubleshooting. The most important thing is, that the audience loves it. God job everyone! Remember, grease is still the word..
