Long story short.

We left Utrecht tired. Had one travel day and started get in next day in the morning. The movie from the previous post is from that get in. Bournemouth. Really nice city that reminded me Sopot, but with palm trees. Locals told me that they have a tropical micro climate and it's much hotter there. I also got info that there is a nice bay near by, kite bay I may say. That brown building in the back is the BIC. Nice place, nice people. I'd like to visit Bournemouth again. That's the first place I had to use me new skills - IPAF - hell yeah - to get the view form my favorite toy, the cherry picker. We had the opening there, it was a good show. Really good. We had a lot of 'fun' as Hans says and went along to Birmingham. From there the only thing I want to remember is that we left it to go to Brighton. Horrible venue, horrible locals, called 'crewsaders'. I didn't know why local crew from BIC had a big laugh about where we are going next. Now I know. So let's forget everything from LG Arena besides the fact that we did the get out by our selves. Congrats Heavy One more thing. 3cm of snow is a national disaster here.. Next on - Brighton. That was my personal best. In any way. I had some doubts about the apartments we were supposed to get, not hotel. I was so surprised, positively. Had my own room, had all I needed, including a washing machine - nothing funny. There is nothing worse that traveling with a bunch of dirty, smelly clothes. So 1st photo I took was Another thing is that it was nice to live for a week like English people do. Brighton for me is a better, bigger, harder Sopot. That's a must see for someone visiting the UK. Night life specially. Of course the main thing there is a great beach great see view great crew in the Brighton Centre and the atmosphere there. Best of all - Brighton Center was the best sounding venue. Seriously. Best. We got a nice German style hard square sound. I must not miss that over there Heavy invented "the Monacor Wardrobe Cluster" In addition, he established a way of sweat-proofing body packs GaySafe baby. Full professional, isn't it? I was so sad to leave. But a tour is a tour. Next on - Nottingham. The Robin Hood city. The cast&crew had a possibility to take a part in a Robin Hood tour of the city. I choose to visit my friend in Sheffield. One of the biggest cities in the UK. 1h by train and we were at her apartment, making pizza with her roommate, baking cookies, drinking some alcohol and basically having a really good time. Thanks Asia. When I got back from Sheffield I went for a walk in Nottingham but nothing caught my attention. Just another English city. With a lot of pubs. One we liked the best, it was on the way from the venue and cheap. Old people pub, but nice. English people have always games and darts in pubs. No way you could just sit around and drink. Active drinking. And a little literature The venue was an ice rink covered with plastic floor, so it was kind a cold. and the audience was really steep As it comes to sound, not super cool, not bad. It just was, we did the show and went on. Went on to Newcastle. For me this gives away all of its charm Fun city, lots of parties, pubs, attractions. The venue was really nice. Comfy cosy. for get in and get out. Comfy cosy for the audience. Nice shows. Next to - Cardiff. Again you can say this is Cardiff. Plus a lot, and I mean a lot, of bars, pubs, discos. Whatever you want - just name it. The walking distance to the venue, was a walking distance to the venue - across the street. We had a cherry picker dance. Good shows, good sounding venue, great crew. Nothing to add. Besides that one of the crew members from Poland was visited by his wife and children. She brought 'Sliwowica' and I got rid of my cold with its help. Thanks Piotr&Kamila. Now we are in Exeter. Again and tomorrow - we get in to the venue which is a former cow shed. Go, go Madagascar!!
